Skeleton – Aneek Chatterjee

Skeleton – Aneek Chatterjee

I paint the skeleton with all
possible colors,
marrow and flesh.
Through its eyes green grass
are visible, and the paper
left in the rear seat of the car

Time is just a vacuum.
You can refill it in your mind,
recreate cranky shoes
and the gentle sound
of the car door;
the road and the lawn,
along the side of which
the car sped …

Never to be recreated again.
