His short stories, translations and folktale appeared in the three volumes of Oxford University Press (2006, 2011). He has translated Jayanta Mahapatra’s Sahitya Akademi Award Winning Poetry book Relationship into Bengali and the Bengali version Samparka was published by Sahitya Akademi. He has received Invierno Revista Official Magazine 2023 Award from Argentina. Budha on Planchette is the first poetry book of Choudhury, published by Penprints.

He spent his years in different towns of Bengal due to his father’s transferable administrative job during his childhood days. Mr. Bandyopadhyay did his Honours Degree in English, & taught in Atreyee DAV Public School, Balurghat, as a teacher for a long time. Currently, he is retired. Writing poetry has been his passion since childhood. He used to write poems, essays & stories in the local magazines of Balurghat. But his writings have never been published brfore in a book form.
