Sarmita Dey is currently pursuing her doctoral program in Economics and is a Visiting faculty of Economics and Insurance at Amity University. After working for 26 years in a public sector undertaking, she opted for voluntary retirement in 2018. She is the author of three books. ‘A New Lease of Life- Stories of Reunion’, her debut book, has been widely appreciated. Her much-loved second book is ‘Soul Curry- fiction ’n verses’. With ‘Fab Five do it again’, her third book, she made a foray into the genre of children’s literature. She has also contributed to several anthologies. Her creative instincts, imagination, love for nature and travel have all honed her writing skills.
